Get in the spirit of Valentine’s Day with a performance of “McManus in Love,” a one-man comedy written by nationally renowned humor writer Patrick F. McManus, and starring his indentured actor, Tim Behrens. Follow the hilarious antics of the young Pat and his pal Crazy Eddie Muldoon, as they discover their fear of the dark is child’s play compared to their fear of girls! Actor Tim Behrens portrays the one-man cast of 15 characters, including a bat, a bear, a bicycle, and an even stranger assortment of humans. ‘Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol’ – November

Oakley Valley Arts Council’s production of “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol,” 7:30 p.m. NOV. 10-12*, 14-15 and 17-18 and at 2 p.m. NOV. 19 at Howells Opera House, 160 N. Blaine Ave. Directed by Kent Evensen. The story begins with Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge’s former business partner, in chains and shackles. Marley accepts his one chance to free himself, but he must first redeem Scrooge – so begins a journey of laughter and terror, redemption and renewal. Tickets are $8 and go on sale Oct. 10 at 677-2787 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday).

Random Acts of Theatre presents Death of a Salesman

Death of a Salesman - The CSI Fine Arts Theatre hosts Death of a Salesman on January 13-15 with all shows starting at 7:30pm.
Tony Mannen and Lori Hensen take the stage in Arthur Miller’s Classic “Death of a Salesman”. Willy Loman is a traveling salesman who has come to the end of his career. The play explores his mental state as he remembers his past regrets, successes and relationships with his wife, his two sons and his co-workers.

Random Acts of Theatre Players ~ 1959 Pink Thunderbird

The Random Acts of Theatre Players proudly present their fall show “1959 Pink Thunderbird” by James McClure. The show will be presented on August 12,13 and 14, 2010 at 7:30pm in the Twin Falls Senior Center. The play is two one acts that explore the close knit lives of 6 small town Texas residents. Roy, a Vietnam Veteran and his brother Ray are talkin’ and drinkin’ when Ray’s friend Cletis “Skeeter” Fullernoy delivers some unpleasant news. We also get a glimpse into Roy’s wife Elizabeth’s life as she and her best friend Hattie are drinking Bourbon and folding laundry on a hot afternoon, reminiscing about their high schools days. When local gossip Amy Lee Fullernoy drops by the conversation takes a turn. Come see what happens! Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors and will be available at the door or by calling/texting 420-3979.
