Get in the spirit of Valentine’s Day with a performance of “McManus in Love,” a one-man comedy written by nationally renowned humor writer Patrick F. McManus, and starring his indentured actor, Tim Behrens. Follow the hilarious antics of the young Pat and his pal Crazy Eddie Muldoon, as they discover their fear of the dark is child’s play compared to their fear of girls! Actor Tim Behrens portrays the one-man cast of 15 characters, including a bat, a bear, a bicycle, and an even stranger assortment of humans. Magic Valley Advertising Federation – Feb 9

The Magic Valley Advertising Federation invites you to learn about “The Advertising Success Of Budweiser” on February 9 at the Shilo Inn in Twin Falls. This will be a great opportunity to see how Budweiser produces the TV commercials that we all look forward to seeing each year. The approach of Budweiser to each brand and that brand’s customers will also be discussed. This is an after work presentation with check in starting at 5:15pm. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided. Cost is $5 for MVAF members and $10 for non- members. Reservations are requested by Tuesday, February 7. Magic Valley Arts Council presents the first of a series of Jazz Club dinner and music events, featuring Fox-Jensen Jazz Band, 7-10 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place, Suite 101. Door opens at 6:30 p.m. Band members are Jesse Hadley on piano, Adam Crofts on bass, Michael Frew on guitar, Brent Jensen on sax, Jeff Fox on sax and Alex Doetsch on drums. Tickets, which include dinner, are $50, at Twin Falls Center for the Arts or 734-2787. Seating is limited; tickets must be purchased in advance.
