The mission of the Twin Falls Welcome Mat is to promote local businesses while providing a public service to new families moving to our area, helping them locate the products and services they need to get settled into their new home and surroundings.

We accomplish this mission by providing advertising for your business via direct customer contact through the personal delivery of a welcoming ‘flower pot’ and a gift bag to the newcomers in the area.

The flower pot gives you an opportunity to provide your business card with a redemption offer on the reverse side (printed by us on the labels you see in the picture). The gift bag or basket gives you the opportunity to provide any other messages, brochures and/or widgets.

Some things to consider:

  • This personal delivery and recommendation of your business makes an excellent impact on the newcomer, much more so than a cold call or direct mailing. In fact, when we meet with them it takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on their information needs and desire to talk.
  • The bag contains community events information, drivers license and voter registration forms, all things that a newcomer needs to help them get comfortable in their new surroundings.
  • Because we fulfill the needed service of welcoming newcomers to the area, the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce has specifically linked Twin Falls Welcome Mat directly to their web site. We receive questions regularly about where to go for particular products or services from newcomers through that connection.
