Grand Opening May 19th 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

AJ’s Interactive Farm
1714 S 1625 E
Gooding, ID 83330

What can you do on an interactive farm? Pet the animals, practice roping, learn about the animals, milk a goat, bottle feed a baby, play in the straw bales, have a picnic, gather eggs, plant a seed. Seasonal activities available too!

I grew up on a farm and think this is a great opportunity for those that don’t have a farm background to get to experience that as part of their life. It can give anyone a better understanding & appreciation about how those eggs and that seed started somewhere before it was food sitting on the grocery shelves.

What animals do we have? Goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, llamas, donkeys, ponies, horses, barn cats and dogs.

The University of Idaho’s Dancers, Drummers, Dreamers dance and percussion performance is set for 7 p.m. May 17 at Twin Falls High School’s Roper Auditorium. University of Idaho student dancers and musicians will share their talents with performing arts and music students at Canyon Ridge and Twin Falls High schools. The visits allow DDD students to teach high school students the routines. The high school students are included in the evening performances. Free admission. Donations accepted at the door for Canyon Ridge and Twin Falls High music departments. Proceeds from the joint performances support the host school’s performing arts and music programs.

DDD was created in 1991 by University of Idaho professor emerita of dance, Diane Walker and distinguished professor, jazz choirs director and composer Dan Bukvich, in collaboration between the dance and music departments in the College of Education and the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. Associate professor, dance program director and choreographer, Greg Halloran, also is vital to the unique, interdisciplinary program. Each DDD performance showcases original creations of university students and faculty.

DDD kicks off its statewide tour in Coeur d’Alene, and will make additional appearances at the Colonial Theater with Idaho Falls High School, at Idaho Falls; Twin Falls High School Roper Auditorium, Twin Falls; and will conclude their tour at Eagle High School in the Boise/Nampa area, where they will perform with Nampa’s Sage Valley Middle School percussion students.

Information and performance updates, go to DDDatUIdaho on Facebook. www.uidaho.edu.
