The 4th Annual FurrBall Fundraiser is an event to raise money for the People for Pets Magic Valley Humane Society. The event is scheduled for March 3rd, 2012 7pm-11pm at the Turf Club on Falls Ave. There will be live music, raffle, no host bar, variety of finger foods, and its a great night out for a great cause! Seating is limited and tickets are on sale now at the Magic Valley Humane Society $25 each or $45 per couple.

Magic Valley’s Got Talent competition’s Top 10 Showcase, 7 p.m. March 2nd at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 960 Eastland Drive, Twin Falls. First-place prize is $3,000, $1,500 for second, $500 for third, $300 for fourth and $200 for fifth. Tickets are $15 general admission and $30 for VIP seating (includes drinks and hors d’oeuvres), at magicvalleysgottalent.com. The event is a fundraiser for Lighthouse Christian School. Women’s Business and Career Conference: ‘Take the Lead’ .  Join us to hear inspiring speakers, teachers, and successful entrepreneurial people from all over Idaho as they help bring your vision — your dream, to reality. The College of Southern Idaho and the Idaho Small Business Development Center are in the business of preparing people of all ages and backgrounds to create new careers and to move forward in reaching their potential. 30th Annual Icebreaker – Mar. 3

The 30th Annual Shriner’s Icebreaker will be held on Saturday, March 3rd with teams meeting at 11am at their respective team bars.  This year, 14 bars will be sponsoring the 2 person teams.   There is a limit of 25 teams per establishment, cost per team is $20.00 and the money taken in is donated to Shriner’s.  To participate, you must pre-register at your chosen of bar.  Participating bars are: The Ground Round, Log Tavern, Pioneer Club,  The Press Box, The Shuffle Inn, Klover Klub, Bistro 360, Buffalo Wild Wings, Elevation 486, Canyon Crest Event Center, Lonesome Dove, Bowladrome, and Montana Steak House.  Hurry!
